Somehow, I don't feel that Lewandowski replacement will cure the current shortcomings of not being able to convert chances, if these are the shortcomings we complain about.Send him on in the summer. Just bring in Gyokeres and Lewa will not want to sit the bench and he will leave.
Lewandowski might leave but don't be suprised that anew striker will live up to common expectations of changing things as with a magic wand.
This club, if I remember correctly, never depended on strikers alone, in its best victory and glory days, so why, all of a sudden, Lewandowski has become that missing chain link for the success?
BTW. It ain't over yet. The upcoming weeks and months will reveal if Flick is to be remembered as a genius or a flop. If the former, Lewandowski will have a huge part in it.
