He said multiple times, including late into his Bayern run, that he experimented with match rhythm, and too much rest serves him much worse than playing all games, even despite cumulating fatigue. I tend to believe him, given his quasi scientific/ machine approach to the training/ diet/ game in general. It's not that he tried to manipulate himself into game time either, because there were patches of rest for him while in form and not obviously needed at the time.

There were 3 partitions of Poland, and then World War I, World War II, and each time Poland rose from its knees. This is because we have preserved patriotism, courage and attachment to the Fatherland, and this is what many countries lack today. Quite the opposite, I don't pretend to be a tough man at all (and not what the post was about) - though I saw and been part of severe dehumanization process in quite tough and testing conditions. Not a kid either, 40 yo family man, all risk I do is alpinism, in winter too so that's something maybe, but still, am quite sensitive and maybe too pampered indeed.

Additionally, I will respond to someone who wrote that the Bundesliga is a one-team league, that Borussia Dortmund, Bayer Leverkusen, Eintracht, BM and a few others have repeatedly sent Spanish teams home, and in the season in which Bayern beat Barcelona 7-2, they did not score so many goals against anyone else in the Bundesliga.

That was 10 years ago. Thats the same as i remember that i was partying for 3 days and think i can do it now, in reality night out and 2 days of painful hangover.

I think no one here thinks that lewa was shit attacker, his dortmund and bayern days were brilliant.

I agree, but still looking at this season and his age I think he's generally wasted his time and calling him trash, tractors etc. is unfair to him and his achievements even this season.

Its the forum, people can tell what they want, as long its not over the line. He's been shit lately, but something tells me that he might have crucial part in some games ahead. Thats why i want him on the bench, he needs rest. He is not lewa from that clip anymore, and everyone including himself need to accept that.
