Can't help but to feel sorry for the fans buying his #16 shirt now when it's all but confirmed he'll change it to 8 for next season.

Alba's volley and Soler's scorpion were better and more difficult goals, not to mention some others in the vid. More dishonest worship.

What does everyone think about his passing? His completion rate is low/mid 80 percents for Barcelona. Both this and last season.

Spain it's in the 90s but that could be down to the slower international football.

Is it because he is attempting more defence breaking passes, or because he is not thinking fast enough?

His passing is largely very good and for someone in his role I'd expect a lower percentage than a metronome type midfielder who's role is to dictate tempo.

I think he could attempt even more defence breaking passes. Some of his missed ones are due to the difficulty of the passes he attempts, but maybe half of them is also because of pure sloppiness. He needs to up his concentration. Maybe some of it can be explained by him being content since he has got to play all the time anyhow...
He is a bit too lazy in checking before he receives, and in his positioning. He does have great vision somehow, and very nice technique, but because he is still a bit lazy mentally he ends up circulating too much without a plan, and he is sometimes found out.

I want a bit more urgency from him, along with very different movement patterns and positioning.
His passing selection is too differentiated between safe back passes and passes behind the defence, he should be more daring and aware when he plays these back passes and he'd be able to get into better positions more often for these passes behind the defence.

Bit of both. Quickness in most forms is his main flaw. I think he is a great passer but he can fail to release the ball quickly enough because he is a slower player.

Sometimes he will get a ball where the continuation is pretty clear and you have to release quickly. He's not ideal in these situations.
