I mean he likes to play for Barca, he likes to be here.. as a sub he's been crucial this season. Why not keep him? He had the mentality to come back as a shark and it's working for him. Let him be the shark.

I don't think you can have a much better sub long-term than him.

I don't think he is perfect player but he does his job well and gives us a spark. Heck yesterday and Dortmund game. Very memorable moments.

Good post. Valid point. Ferran is not responsible for his transfer fee.

In the end, Ferran is a rotation player, fine in a squad with depth. It is not his fault that we do not have a superior rotation player one spot ahead of him.

Yeah we can't keep thinking about the price we bought him. That's old news. He is what he is today and that's totally acceptable role. Great subs are worth a lot too. Look at other top teams who buy rotation players, those prices start from 20mil.. probably something like 20-60mil even. City, PSG can blow something like that for backups. So what we paid for him isn't even that ridiculous in a messed football world of today.

Glad for him to play vs. his home team.

Yeah, such a frustrating player even with 2 goals but no need to dwell on it now.

Hope these goals attract suitors.

Scored one.

He’s got potential as a player, most of the tools are there yet he fails to step up. It’s a shame. Could and should have a much more significant role in the squad.

You're welcome
He’s much more of a threat in front of of goal than in past seasons. Could tell last season near end already shot aim improved and this season even more so.

Mentally more sorted.

10 goals/assist in little over 800 minutes is good going.

If he is happy to be a sub he should stay as versatility like that off the bench is a big plus.
