4 - Ronald Araújo

I'd focus on players we can sell for decent to good money without weakening the team. That is Araujo and nobody else most likely. Maybe Raphinha for a huge offer would be tempting... but it's risky. Would be up to Flick and also Raphinha really. How much goals could Lamine be counted to score next season. Don't think he will up his goals by a lot next year.

Ideal would be to keep the same squad and add 2-3 players in defense with a good physical profile. If finances and La Liga fair play allow it.

They would back Flicks system to cover the goals to main degree more than thinking it is individual ability all based on.

But Raphinha isnt going anywhere this summer. Doesnt fit for anyone.

The picture shows nothing, and watching the video, it was on the far post beyond his zone.

Blaming one player in this is nonsense, we have been conceding corners for fun.

Araujo was on the right place, maybe not on the right guy though.

But that is more of a coaching problem rather than one player issue.

Lack of height is also real, our starting lineup had G.Martin as our tallest outfield player at 1.86m, with 5 players taller than him at Inter.
10000% spot on. One of the very few balanced posters on this forum.

There's many articles online explaining the mix of zonal with man-to-man marking on corners, and the benefits of mixing those up. Look it up and inform yourself before you engage in these discussions again.
NO ONE Coach, will use zonal marking on corners. Ignore all those analyses by the arm chair tik-tok "coaches". Watch yourself, observe and classify.

Again, Zonal marking is transitional , more like multiple conyeyor belts. It can never be used for a static situation like set pieces. I used to play as a CB at and I know how many players struggled with it then.

Man city, RB Liezpig, current German national team are a few clubs that deploy zone marking effectively. Even the professionals get it wrong sometimes because it is easy to get carried away by the play and mix up the zonal margins.

He is not starter and you can get good players in defense for free.

Concidering our situation it makes sense to sell him, and get free player like Tah.

Bad thing is that now RM is intrested and we could sign him already but we are so broke so we cant sign even free players.

This goal ain't on aurajo
What are the jabronis here cooking
Blindly hating players for no reason,

Reminds of yamal hate on his thread.
I wonder.

At this point, I am inclined to believe it is beyond the football.

If anyone truly watched that match and then left a player that lost his marker alone and heaped all blame on someone else who was meters away.

Some here have also blamed for to allowing a perfect cross speeding at 30m/s to sail above him, that he should have spurned around at same speed as the ball to face the scorer whole being meters away from him. 😆 🤣

It is not difficult to know those who never ever played football before.

Did as often does and didnt read it.

He took a step forward almost trying to track run of the Inter player making run across him and from there couldnt make it back.

Flick is expecting Araujo to challenge anything in that area.

Not first time he loses headers or read is poorly for a player his size and athleticism.

😆 🤣 😂...one of the Jabronis.
Olmo=Zero blame
Araujo=Blamed for the goal.

Still surpised he has not blamed for the Thuram's goal yet.

One already blamed him for the second goal before he even came on... 😆 🤣

Apparently, He has a good chance to be the starter right-back vs. Inter Milan. Flick believes Araujo should start because of his strength, as he saw that it was something the team lacked in the 1st leg.
