It's one thing if you fit the system and help it to thrive and then make a mistake (Cubarsi/Martinez), it's another thing altogether if you hinder that system AND commit costly mistakes.

Exactly. Araujo had only one possibility of playing in this team with his on the ball issues. If he was a top class natural defender, strong in 1 vs 1, strong in the air, and a leader. Turned out, he's shite in those areas also. So... game over for him at this club.

Think it's time to move. Would be good for him with a new start in a team with a different style.

Problem is, the partner next to Cubarsi isn't cemented medium term. Iñigo is 33 and Christensen is always injured. He might see chances to get playing time. But imo with all fit I think they are all ahead of him. Actually liked what Christensen showed and if he can stay fit he's a great 2nd/3rd CB.
