Exactly. Araujo had only one possibility of playing in this team with his on the ball issues. If he was a top class natural defender, strong in 1 vs 1, strong in the air, and a leader. Turned out, he's shite in those areas also. So... game over for him at this club.

Think it's time to move. Would be good for him with a new start in a team with a different style.
Problem is, the partner next to Cubarsi isn't cemented medium term. Iñigo is 33 and Christensen is always injured. He might see chances to get playing time. But imo with all fit I think they are all ahead of him. Actually liked what Christensen showed and if he can stay fit he's a great 2nd/3rd CB.

Nobody could defend him after the Inter game, but this tendency for fans to have a villain to vent their anger on is just disgusting.
I mean the guy renewed his contract with a reasonable buyout, when he had most of the cards in his hand and would probably have been wise running his contract down. And then you have players like Trent ........
And let's not forget, he was arguably the best player in Xavi's title winning campaign.
I mean the guy gives his all every match, as do most of the players that 'fans' like to vent on. Frenkie was being booed a few months ago because the hate mob invented he wanted to run his contract down and leave for free and now they say he is world class. The fucking hypocrisy !

Assuming that is true, he is not Barça level centre back
Supposedly world class centre back getting dogwalked by a guy who played 100 minutes in extra time of CL semi finals after coming on, can only make sense if he didn't really give his all
So he either doesn't give it all or he's simply too bad for this level. In either case he needs to go

Brah, I'm not here for L's or W's. I've not defended his performance ONCE since Inter and have said he has been the most declined player in our squad since he was great under Xavi.
My point is only this. These toddlers who go on Instagram to abuse the players disgusts me. I don't care who that player is. When one of your players has to block his Instagram because he is getting too much abuse from his own fans, that's a fucking embarrassment.
And I will cheer for any of the players that is the subject of such moronic immature entitlement. And I can say that, because I have never done the same, not even here on Barcaforum, let alone on their personal Instagram.
