He earned a squad role after this match. Did not think he had in him to deliver these types of crosses, even if left with space to do it. Very nice executions. Wonder if it's also not him who set it on a plate for Garcia at that sitter. That would've been his 3rd assist on the night.
Overall, he was the least of our problems last night.
We absolutely can not put it down to us missing Balde and Kounde. Garcia and Martin even created the key 2-1 goal one with the service, the other with a top finish.

They are never irrelevant. He could have done more at their 3rd goal, but it was a foul, and 2 other players made bigger errors.

Of course it's irrelevant, much like Olmo scoring a goal, irrelevant in the course of the tie because his fuck up cost us a goal and his general play hampered us scoring more.

How exactly is scoring and making assists irrelevant in a tie? It puts goals on the scoring board.
Come on... it's the exact opposite of irrelevant.It's irrelevant as in it shouldn't factor into assessment of the player and whether or not he should be part of our squad due to how awful he was over the two legs just because he got 2 assists. He shouldn't be near our squad next season. As said he made Dumfries look like prime Alves, made another blunder for their late equaliser too let's be real. He contributed pretty much to everything that went wrong over the two legs, made our left hand side extremely poor bar 2 crosses in 210 mins of football. I think he did better than expected offensively, probably because Inter didn't give him too much attention. And OTOH he struggled defensively as expected. So overall I'd say he did better than I expected him to.
We shouldn't forget he played in 3rd tier less than a year ago. I think he gave his best which ofc wasn't good enough to win but would be stupid to blame him when he was probably the one player playing the closest to or even above his abilities. It's not his fault he had to start a game like this.
