He is there as they couldnt afford anyone else to back up at LB.. they couldnt even promote Valle and the salary it would take to do it.

Plays a lot more than ideally would want because Balde has physically most demanding role in the team.

To be fair to the lad he has been bit better recently.

If he could learn how to throw a proper cross he would be a perfect backup.

He is too slow for a Fullback.. maybe transition to left CB or DM will do him good later on.
