Surely must be Liga sides willing to take him on loan.

He's Yamal's buddy however. Maybe he's content sitting on the bench and winning trophies. Or club is waiting for Christensen to be sold. Cuba, Inigo, Araujo, Eric/Kounde as CB options. Then a window opens up for him to get a few minutes at RB.

If he is loaned then Casado can play RB rather well from his B team sample. Flick has been adverse to trying it so far, but then again he was adverse to Eric until absolute necessity.

Fort gives happy to be there vibes off. That's the biggest problem along with the news earlier in the window that he rejected loans to Valencia and PSV.

I like the kid and he has talent, hell I started the thread, but there are tactical elements that he just won't iron out without playing. That's the reality.

Based on last season and his reactions to not coming in, I don't even think he's happy staying in the bench, he probably believes he's better than he really is and wants to prove it.

I blame Martin for obvious reasons

Fort is in his last year of contract, and the only rumour about his contract was that he declined our offer at the end of last season, iirc it wasn't even from a credible source.
Nothing else I've seen, we hear about renewals of Torres, Frenkie etc but not him.

Obviously, you don't loan him without renewal. And heck, we won't play him even without renewal as we won't just help him to get better contract elsewhere

Him and Inaki are the last 2 players from AC Talent agency, that one had Torre, Xavi, Umtiti, Palancia, Pique & Rakitic. So, I won't be surprised if they are looking for an exit for their last client in Barca

Doesn't really have a place with Eric Garcia being preferred over him as the backup RB.
And in any case someone like Landry Farre could probably fill in for the few minutes he would receive anyway.

If he's smart he also moves to the Portuguese league. They're good at developing players in his position which could earn him a move to the PL in the future for a nice paycheck.

Fort is in his last year of contract,

According to Sport and MD his contract is until 2029. The 2024 renewal was up to 2026 as that's the maximum length unt 18. When he turned 18 it automatically got renewed until 2029.

Héctor Fort is not considering a move away from FC Barcelona this upcoming season.

The young right-back is determined to stay, sources have confirmed to Mundo Deportivo.

With a contract running through 2029—automatically extended last summer by an additional three years—Fort is fully focused on remaining part of Hansi Flick’s squad. [MD in May]
