Didnt show much. Was rather poor.

But I will give him the benefit of the doubt.
We need couple of more games from him to judge him thoroughly.

Flick doesn't seem keen on inverted fullbacks, but with the way the tactics are setup with Balde cutting in, I wonder if it would be best to revert Fort to his best position.

His defending somehow looks poorer on the right.

Almost had a nice assist to Lamine mind you.

That backheel was the good highlight from him. But he had bad game and was targeted by Rayo most of the game.

I don't get the plan with him so far. He isn't good enough for the backup role atm, and isn't getting minutes to develop. Even if he makes it I think it will take few years.
Backup RB should be one of the priorities tbh. Or maybe try Casado there.
Loan Fort and let him develop on his own pace.

Apparently during Vitor Roque negotiations Betis wanted our "guarantee" to loan them Fort and Pau Victor (though in his case could also be a sale) next season. Wouldn't be a bad idea. Alternatively can also sell him to Cesc (though Como signed two RBs in January so no idea if they'll be interested) with a buy-back like Madrid did with Nico Paz. We'll need to address his contract in either case as it expires next year.

Problem ofc is he has a very affordable clause (6m AFAIK) for most clubs if he wants to leave.

Seems to think playtime is a charity, send him off ASAP. Moriba mentality

Already said it but it could be a case of Flick being a bit too friendly with players. He doesn't expect public outbursts probably from his experience dealing with German people who are by nature reserved and don't do these tantrums.

Everyone saw how he played last season, there is no he could be worse, he's definitely not worse than Martin, 10000% impossible.

And he's definitely not so poor he couldn't have come on for kounde more this season in games that have been won by 70th minute.

Moat players need a bit of rhythm to show there quality, others are like olmo they can miss games and then play again like nothing happened.

He's pissed right now because he's looking at martin right now like

"Ain't no fucking away this dude is better than me".

And I'm not so sure about flicking seeing talented, all the players in our Core 13-14, are already established talents, with the exception of casado who he pretty much ignored after the first game of the season until bernal got injured and he was forced to play him, another game where a player played unnecessary 90 minutes when he could have made a sub.

He also thinks martin is better than fort and valle, which he clearly isn't

And sees something in Big Dom is that only he sees, kinda like with Martin.

Can't criticize him for much this season, but who he's rotated the squad is definitely one of them.

Fucking hell.

Same folk desperate to find holes in what Flick is doing.

Every player more or less has improved and likes of Pedri are playing roles far more suited to them.

Being set up to blame Flick for not enough rotation if dont win treble... if win it is all about Laporta chosing him as coach.

Usual rules.

Merely commenting on what I see. Isn't usual to see so many players displaying their frustrations publicly.

Think Flick has done way beyond everyone's expectations.
