Doubtful. Kounde isn't injured (according to Kounde himself) and Casado is returning to this position (he played well thete under Marquez with Barca Atletic)

I have my reservations. Even if Kounde is fine, he probably will be rested a bit.
And ya, looks like Casado is now his backup.
I am just hoping Flick starts Eric as an RB after Pedri comes back. Pedri - FDJ is still our best mid duo, and they need a run of games.

Hes a great destroyer DM, but the question remains if he can further improve on the ball in the Midfield.
He's not bad but you can tell hes not quite press resistant with it as he is at CB.
He reminds me of Mascherano in some ways. Masche was one of the best DMs in the world at Liverpool and with Argentina at his peak but his skill set didn't quite mesh as a DM here at Barca but he ended up being class as a CB.
Its hard being a DM in this team but Eric stepped up to the plate. Just hope he can further improve with the ball.

Well there is no doubt he has to be starter considering he's one of most consistent and best performing players this season
And CB really is the last position left for him. Frenkie likely won't be dropped in big games and we brought a new fullback too
It's not his ideal position but he definitely can play there. I remember against PSG he did very well too
In big games probably Balde - Eric - Cubarsi - Kounde

No disagree, I would say CB is the last position he should start at. He is much better and less error prone in all the other areas of the pitch. It's a miracle that Gerard Martin has been playing so well there or else Eric would be forced to play CB
