24/25 Season awards

This season has been truly special. Most culers had little expectation before the season began, but as it rolled on they experienced rollercoaster of emotions - joy, frustration, excitement, doubt, heartbreak - amidst some of the most exhilarating football played in recent years. It certainly wasn't for the weak heart but most football fans tuned in to Barca to get their weekly dose of entertainment. Fc Barcelona 2024/25 was the best show on tv.

It's been close between Pedri, Yamal and Raph, but Yamal finished the season best. Then Pedri.

Yamal > Pedri > Raph. Easy.

Goal of the Season: Pedri vs Atlético (H) / Yamal vs Inter (H)
Assist of the Season: Yamal's trivela to Raphinha vs Mallorca/ pass to Ferran in CDR Final
Revelation of the Season: Marc Casado
Most improved Player: Eric Garcia (Ferran Torres a close second)
Favourite moment: Koundé winner CDR final
Favourite match: Atlético (A) La liga

I'd give Yamal emerging star of the season or clutch player of the season. Pedri was available all season and remained indispensable to the Barca MF (on & off ball) and provided Yamal the launchpad to do his thing. Without Pedri, the midfield loses control and the ball doesn't get to the star boy.

I can't ignore Raphinha's numbers. INSANE.
But it's not only numbers. He is the player that presses the most too so he contributes way way more than goals/assists.

S-Tier: Lamine, Rapha and Pedri were for me all equally important for this season's success. I wouldn't want to pick one from these 3.

A-Tier: Frenkie, Kounde, Inigo, Cubarsi
B-Tier: Lewy, Szczesny, Fermin, Olmo, Balde, Martin, Casado, Torres

Rest C-Tier or played too few minutes to rate them.

Pedri has been very good this season and so has Raphinha, but Lamine is different category to them.

Yamal finished the season the best.
Raphinha had the best season until Argentina.
Pedri was the most consistent of all across the entire season.

Easily Yamal. Before CL semis he was unbelievable for a 17 year old. From CL semis onwards he was unbelievable regardless of age.
