Name any of those big games/ties from last season where Raph was one of Barcas top two or three players..

Any of them.

Yamal, Pedri and Frenkie were the better in those games and more often the ones that had the biggest impact.

Type of nonsense expect from someone who purrs over Puigs and Arthur and tells us Pedri can never be elite.

Name one tie.

Same with league decider v Real.. Frenkie and Pedri ran that game from 2-0 down despite Raph getting a couple goals or Ferran getting 3 assists.

So again.. name one big game from last season that Raph was one of Barcas best 2/3 players.

Bayern I agree he was no1.

If the claim is he is the ultimate big game player should be easy enough.

The best players in Barcas biggest games last season were Frenkie, Pedri and Yamal and that was with Frenkie only really fit for half of it.

I rate Raphinha as one of the 4 most important players.

Joan Garcia maybe makes that a 5 now to be fair and Eric this season pushing to be in that.

Raphinha is not someone who performs over course of a game more like someone who steps up in particural moments

What he does over course of a game is run his ass off for the team and we've had our proofs that without this running our entire system collapses because we have no other pressing machines like him

It not about anything collapsing with him not there to that extent though.

Can point to all players being missed.

Barca could barely win a game for months last season when Frenkie out.

Were impacted last season when Yamal out also.

Impacted this season when Pedri and Raphinha out.. particularly if at same time.

But nobody is missed as much as Raphinha and Pedri

All our performances vs top teams without Raphinha have been embarrassing. Excluding Newcastle which is hardly a top team and they barely touched the ball so our oop didn't get exposed

The cause is clear. There is no pressing upfront and with freedom and time to make a decision vs this high line, every quality footballer will have a field day

Folk point to Chelsea.. ok Barca lost to Monaco with 10 men a year ago and with Pedri and Raph both largely fit were 7 points off Real in the league.

Losing/dropping points to some bang average/poor teams.

Too much is made of the pressing. Teams last season scored created a ton v Barca with Raphnha.. see Inter.. see Real.. Celta.. Atletico etc.

They system leaves the team exposed.

This season also it took Joan Garcia being MOTM v Rayo, Espanyol and Villareal to stop them scoring and were creating a lot.
