Yamal wasn't great yesterday, tried a lot and credit to him for being probably the only source of creativity. Doesn't mean he was great though. Frenkie ran the middle of the pitch from min 1 pretty much. It's weird, you don't have to suddenly pivot and claim Frenkie is great or anything, but acknowledging a good performance is bare minimum if you want your opinion on a player to be taken seriously. You do you though

Played like a real captain - playing well, fighting, running the show from start to finish.
