He was far better than Casado before Casado got injured and with Casado as main starter Barca were 7 points off Real and had won 1 of last 8 games.

This has always been FDJ's shortcoming.
Hence, he works best in a double pivot, delegating this job to the other player.
Still the best pair with Pedri.

Barca have some of the dumbest fans going.
Same folk have to find something.
Usually it's 'can't defend'... he recovered ball more than anyone and ran more.
'Can't pass ball forward'.. created only moment of quality.
Was far better than likes of Gavi who these clowns love.
They forget Pedri didn't soo much when came on, was worse v Leganes and worse the week before at home to Dortmund.
Pedri has been the best midfielder going this season but has struggled many times without Frenkie and far worse than Frenkie v Dortmund.
Can make videos to show what like. Have seen Real fans do the same this season for some of Pedris best games.. would think he had a disaster as they focus on the mistakes.

He is my man but he was poor, truly . Everyone saw that.
He is not so good for this fast tempo gung-ho type of football. Most comfortable controlling from deep.
Things improved slightly when Pedri came on. This is one of the reasons I think Barca will miss the versatility of having a Cass for these type of matches.

Casado wouldnt be playing anyway and Barca far better with FDJ.
The whole team has dipped a bit last few games and need to pick it up.
It got better for about ten minutes when FDJ and Pedri both deeper than both Pedri and FDJ barely saw the ball again after Garcia on and FDJ AM.
Araujos latest mistake gave Dortmund a huge lift to go again and Barca were rattled.
