Well it's to early to say what he deserved or didn't ' if it's obvious the contract indeed have 'evidence of criminality' and we pointed it out to him but he insisted - than yeah it's his and his agents fault, kind of a question if it was in good faith or not. But I'm holding of my judgment until we have some more details.

Isn't the rumour that his agent wants him to leave but Frenkie wants to stay. Maybe agent knows they messed up and the contract is no good.

It's not as straight forward as people think, he does definitely have the advantage though.
Secondly players and agents can most definitely be complicit. A contract is agreed by two parties and knowing the financial issues at the club and a pending (successful) motion of no confidence it may be argued that an agreement was made between two parties to extort an institution.

These 'advanced' matters like the Frenkie case isn't made up from nothing without backup.
