This he was ok this game. First OK game from him this season.

Though the first half was diabolical, he improved and worked harder second half.

It was a testament that Flick didn't make a sub until the dying minutes of the game. Think we are finally ticking, and he didn't want to risk it.

I thought this was the first game in over half year where he seemed like actuat football player.

Didn’t look like he was gassed.

He played fairly well and was better in 2nd half when he and FDJ got closer together.

First half FDJ was almost being used like a 3rd CB at times. When ball went to Celta full backs the Barca full backs jumped on them and the nearest CB picked up attackers full backs left behind and FDJ dropped to mark usuall the CF.

Created a lot of space between FDJ and Olmo.

The 2nd half it looked like Flick told them to fuck that off and defend with ball and be patient and allowed Frenkie to go with more freedom and dictate on ball. Which got him and Olmo nearer.

Olmo is a threat on edge of are they have to respect and creates more room for others.

Wasnt amazing but played well enough and a far better midfield on the ball than one with Casado clearly.

“It’s not pleasant to have your name associated with so many injuries. Ultimately, I’m following a training method to prevent these situations,” he told Onda Cero.
“I believe, one hundred percent, that it’s working well for me; in the end, it’s football, and you can’t control everything. I want to train more on the field and in the gym for injury prevention. It’s about finding a balance of what’s working.”

Problem is Leipzig are a low pressure club. Barca is completely different.
Be serious now. When a player fails all kinds of weird explanations are offered as to why

But in this case I don't know what is it that indicates Olmo folded under pressure in this club, being also an academy graduate and very familiar with everything surrounding this club

The problem is simply injuries. If not for injuries, Olmo would be an unbelievable signing. But that's a huge if, because we knew of his injury history when we signed him, and ignored it or rather hoped it would magically stop, which turned out to be false. So we only have ourselves to blame

And regarding Olmo, I saw he had a really good game vs Turkey. Wasn't that bad vs Celta either. Finally some positive signings. I'm willing to bet if he can endure some more time without picking up an injury, he will be back to form again. But it is highly unlikely he will endure. Soon after the int break he will be injured again probably
