20 - Dani Olmo

I think he was very good and usually he is class but injury problems are too frequent, while Fermin is constantly improving. Soon he might lose his starting spot. And if he does then 60m spent on him is failure, no doubt. Usually it wouldn't be but considering our situation, I would say so

What if I told you Gavi is the one who is most likely to play that 10/hybrid 8 role if Olmo goes down.

Nobody interested in buying him? Would sell in a heart beat and bring proper reinforcements to key spots in defense.

New season same Olmo

Best we can do is hope he turns up in big games, if he's available. Last season he didn'tt

If we paid 60 milion for 15 games a season and few goals here and therr against midtable opposition, sorry but this deal sucks

What happened to those genetic test that the club will do to him in the model of Pedri?
Could be Olmo is older so it's harder to implement

But honestly I haven't heard anything about it during summer. Who knows if they even tried

We don't have any need to get rid of Olmo. He contributed to many key points won last season, and will do so this year. Thing is that if Lamine or Raphinha are blocked and don't find a way in, Olmo is usually the one most likely to pop in with the winning goal. Not Pedri, not Fermin.

He has issues he has to work on no doubt, regarding fitness and overall strenght in big games, but technically, it's not at all easy to find a midfielder as good as he is on the ball.

Don't fuck up the midfield. Things are looking migthy good in this area for us.
