20 - Dani Olmo

Sell. Unfortunately he is not the difference maker he was supposed to be we've seen it in all the big games this season.

The biggest issue with him aside from injuries is the fact that he can't run with the ball or dribble at all. As a number 10 he has no ability to separate himself from a defender no ability to drive with the ball cuz he's too slow.
Slow yes but he is very good at dribbling and his shoot is also on of the best of all 10

Wirtz is who city needs
Maybe olmo is back up because wirtz 1. wants to go to bayern 2. to real madrid and it is clear that nobody who can go to bayern, madrid or barcelona would instead want to play in the premier league. So no i think there is no chance for city with wirtz

I haven't seen him do any dribbles lately I don't think so. He can do a nice first touch move every now and then and that's it.

Just play rapha at 10 he will be much more dynamic

Fermin has less skill but more heart and that does wonders. I wouldn't be surprised if Fermin takes over within 2 yrs at 10

City has been interested in him for years and was there for the picking but Pep and City waited until KDB and Silva were cooked to make a move.

Too late at this point unless they are willing to pay a kings ransom for him.

The rumour is that they are willing to make a generous offer.

It is honestly a fair question here, selling Olmo for profit could benefit us.
The thing is, we absolute need another AM so that we don't need to even consider Pedri as no 10.

This is where it gets tricky.

Some will argue Fermin but he's a different profile to Olmo and a bit more direct/scorer.

But also he's been rather inconsistent when he starts as well.

I can accept Fermin as a starter, but does that mean Gavi is his backup? or we will need to spend half of what we get paid for another backup?

Olmo chips in with important goals. If he's sold which I think is extremely unlikely then it need to be someone who has some goalscoring in him as well.

Someone like Xavi Simons would make sense in that regard.

And then he either falls down or stands there waving his arms.
For all the flak some other players gets, Olmo is undeniably soft and acts like he loses his head too often in these type of games for my liking

Everyone see rags dolling on the grass and think it's ok for them to do it too. Even Yamal's doing it at times.

He hasn't missed that much games (or more than usual).
He's first season has been good amid uncertainty with registration.

No EC, WC this summer, full normal pre-season will do good for him and everyone else.

No way we sell a home boy we just signed and that had a solid season.

His sale is a non-starter. He made an effort to join this club knowing fully well that there'd be registration issues. There's no way he leaves now even if Barca received a generous offer. Personally like Fermin more.
