20 - Dani Olmo

Bruno is too similar to Valverde and all action. Wouldnt work.

Tonali is good but is not playing in way to dominate on ball for Newcastle this season.

His best moments seem to be when he is running up and down park.

Wirtz isn't that kind of player though, olmo could replace either more so than him, because you can see olmo playing just as well in a 433, as he does playing 10.

Wirtz I don't think has that, it would be a wirtz or Bellingham thing and of course you choose wirtz in that comparison

Nope he ain't. But it would be a very Perez move while trying to shoehorn someone somewhere else.

It must be infuriating for them seeing that La Fabrica can't develop top midfielders. When was there last midfielder who could have broken into their team?

De La Red, and then he had heart problems and retired? I didn't even think he was that great mind you.

I don't see Olmo playing as well as he does right now in a 4-3-3 tbh.

It would be the same old issue we had all these years. Basically limiting the players for no reason whatsoever. Square peg in round holes and all that.

I actually think Wirtz would do better since Alonso has had him play as a LAM and drop down deeper at times too in some of the games I have seen.

But like Olmo he's at his best as a CAM.

Tielemans is better than Bruno and Tonali combined. Cost absolutely nothing as well.

Not sure Zubimendi really improves Madrid. To be honest i can imagine they were hoping Kroos was staying for a couple more years so they can analyse the market. But they got stuck with Modric instead.

Folk on here who dont watch said players see them getting linked to bigger clubs in media and decide they are the best going.

Name about 20 names a season and always when topical.

I would not be worried whatsoever if Real Madrid sign Zubimendi even though I think he would be decent and a very useful player for them.

"Xavi"

freudian slip, admit it you loved the work Xavi did.

If Madrid are smart they would break the bank for one of newcastle's midfielders.

Bruno or Tonali beside valverde would work every well.

My fookin' auto correct loves Xavi

Perez needs to throw 70-100m at City for Rodri and see if they bite, or if Pep gets the itch for a new toy.

Not a guarantee post injury, but the closest to a guarantee they can get.

Vini gets to hold his Balon d'Or too so wins all around.

Really? Re writz I honestly don't see that in him, like if I was comparing him to Bellingham I could see him playing a CM role much better than the English man.

But say compared to olmo?, I olmo would take to that position almost seamlessly.

If those two comparisons brings across my point well.

Olmo I think if he's a 10/10 at CAM, would be a 8/10 at CM, the drop off would be minimal

Tielemans is clear of both mate, much better passing selection and can control a game. Tonali is good when he has time on the ball but flaps under pressure. Dropped a straight 2/10 at Villa park 6 days ago.

Emery tax is of course a possibility but Tielemans was highly rated before he had the relegation season at Leicester.

If Pep willingly sells Rodri then he need to be taken behind the barn and shot.
Although Man City might not have an option next summer in 2026 with Rodri's contract running out in 2027.
He might be Real Madrid's big target for all we know and they might just wait a year or two for it.

There is no way they sell Rodri.. particularly not after this season.

Do think Real would have tried though as said before.. he was the plan.
