19 - Lamine Yamal

Yamal will probably slow down significantly when he reaches 30+, but that's fine because he compensates it by giving us brilliant football as a teenager.
Fortunately even if he slows down, he can still adjust his game to be master of controlling tempo, freekicks and passing type of player. The touch on the ball and vision won't go anywhere even if his speed and dribbles aren't as effective as they used to be.

I just hope he has Messi's generational luck when it comes to bad injuries. Injuries are the only thing that will stop him doing what he is doing currently.

He is close to peak Neymar this season. Not as reliable scorer or as spectacular of a dribbler, but better passer and arguably more clutch vs big teams.

But... on the other hand, it's just one season. Need to see next season. The truly elite players deliver every season.

It sounds harsh, but this is the mentality needed. Past is past, present is everything. Next match and next match and so on and so forth. The bigger the match the more impact it can have on his eventual legacy.

Side effect of reading so much fake news/disinformation is a fried brain.

"Messi was on growth hormone treatment during childhood", he must be on steroids. If we hadn't known this story nobody would have thrown the steroid theory in public, because Messi has the typical footballer physique, huge leg muscles and upper body of a teenager.

Lamine Yamal this season has more non-pen G+A than every Ballon d'Or winner (bar Messi, R9, CR7, Benz) in the last 40 years

Very, very interesting stat. Considering statistics might really be the biggest obstacle to his bdor charge.

Look at why hgh is illegal and what it does to recovery times and muscle durability
