Madridistas are seething because of this quote.
LOL

Saw quite a few of them wishing Fati level injury and a short career.

They BIG MAD!! :rofl1:
Kinda disgusting because Yamal and Fatin are Spanish. In the end I am sure they enjoy all the glory Yamal got for them in the international stage.

Most of them are fucking plastics anyways. They cant comprehend this.
And a lot also seethe on the fact that Spain's prominence in World football directly correlates to Barca or LaMasia being dominant.

And they get BIG MAD when you point this fact out.

Same shit goes for spain glory days where they said that madrid and barca players were equally responsible for their winnings lmao.
In world cup they would have: cubarsi, balde, pedri, gavi, olmo, lamine, ferran, probably inigo too. 5 starters minimum.

Lamine Yamal: "It's my first Champions League semi-final, I'm very excited."

Lamine Yamal: "I dye my hair and stuff because I'm bored at home."

Lamine Yamal: "People say I'm cocky? As long as I win, they can't say anything to me; when they beat me, they can."

Lamine Yamal: "Inter are a very good team. We have to do what we always do, play as a team."

Lamine Yamal: "Íñigo and Frenkie are incredible. Everyone talks about me, Rapha, and Pedri... maybe they don't get as much attention as others, but they're very important."

Lamine Yamal: "At my age, few players have played as many matches for a team as Barça. What I value most is the day-to-day motivation."

Lamine Yamal: "I don't feel vertigo. I wasn't scared, I left it at the park in Mataró (Lamine's home town). I'm motivated and have that tingle before matches."

Lamine Yamal: "The atmosphere we experienced at the Cup final... you have to go out and enjoy it. I take it as a good thing. I'd love to experience it again."

Lamine Yamal: "The other day was one of the matches in which we struggled the most physically, but in a final and against Madrid, your heart is stronger than your legs."

Lamine Yamal: "A Champions League semi-final isn't the same context as playing a league match. You're playing for a Champions League final."

Lamine Yamal: "I didn't know what to do yesterday. The power outage made us all nervous."

Lamine Yamal: "I don't compare myself to anyone, much less Messi. I'll leave that to you. We focus on improving. The comparison is pointless. I admire him; he's the best in history."

Lamine Yamal: "Football is a sport that knows no age. It doesn't affect us youngsters at all, and we're performing at a very high level. Age is just a number."

Lamine Yamal: "I really like Barella and Lautaro. On the counterattack, they're one of the best teams in Europe. They're a team I like to watch."

Lamine Yamal: "Having captains like Raphinha is vital."

Lamine Yamal: "As children, we experienced what Barça and the 2015 Champions League were like. We played because we felt the shirt."

He can turn into footballs dennis rodman for all I care as he can stay quality on the pitch. I just hope all the attention and praise doesnt ruin him. It makes almost all players arrogant in a way but as long as you dont go full Brazilian it should be fine.

Should have known better than to trust those Indian scammers.
Yeah, journalksts are often sneaky like that as well where they will out the words in his mouth by stating something and if the player agrees or says hopefully then spin it into clickbait like its his quote

True but Rodman had a crazy childhood and upbringing, Lamine’s is tame by comparison

It‘s genuinely difficult to really predict where his personality might go because watching that pressy, at the Euro, seeing how he performs in the big stage it is just hard to comprehend at his age.

In my line of work I often present externally & internally to different audiences, I’ve had media training quite a bit and you can see that many struggle when there is a camera or microphone but they really prepare kids well at La Masia for exposure

Yet, he’s a unicorn because no one has had this success this early and not be undone by the pressure. Tiger was 20 when he became a phenomena in sport and 3 years later embroiled in the affairs etc

I can’t think of another even remotely similar scenario - it’s really unprecedented. Will he start hanging out with hookers at 18? I hope not but he seems pretty level headed despite his social media personality

Gretzky was skating with 10 yr olds when he was 6 and never got embroiled in controversy. I think we also have to see, despite his immature papa, that mama has raised a considerate kid and La Masia has certainly helped shape that character/maturity as well

I don’t know where he goes from here because like many here probably recall, despite Leo clearly showing his aura at a similar age it was awhile later before he was gaining the same sort of media attention as Yamal is now….Messi turned out fine so the ingredients are there within him to be a good professional and I am certain the club is trying to protect & support him

Fortunately, he’s not the only kid at the Creche they have to support

Daaaamnnn… loving the level headed attitude.

Not embarrassed to admit he dyed hair out of boredom. Neymar his idol but recognizes messi as best ever. Is fine with people calling him cocky.
