I like that he's less fussy about forward passes than Pedri. Pedri a bit too considerate, too finicky tonight for me.

If you can break a line, just do it and see what happens. Don't need to think it two steps ahead every time.

Yea that's what I like about him too, I don't know who I said it to, but he's more willing to take a risk with the forward pass from deep.

Flick doesnt want that though and Pedri scans the whole game not just first pass he sees open.

Casado was decent tonight as kept it simple and ticking and thats all that was needed.

Barely any defending to do and played with no ego which insnt always easy to do.

Simple game is the most effective one sometimes.

At times to his own detriment, which is my point. Whatever your football intelligence, you can never really predict the full scope of opportunity that will open up by breaking a simple line. If you take a leap of faith, chances will come.

Not for me.

Top midfielders have that pause.

Pedri is levels above Casado of knowing how and when to release a ball.

He isnt there to just create he is there to help control and create.
