The Spanish Lampard.

Fantastic player albeit not a typical "Barca DNA" midfielder. But Flick's style of play (supremely entertaining) isn't typical Barca either so he fits in well.

His work rate and passing ability is really underrated. Can easily start for CL level teams. Love how direct and positive he is.

He's ok, definitely disagree he's 'fantastic', that word has lost all meaning if Fermin is, but I am not that bothered.

Not sure if you will reply, but what I am interested in is this - this seems to imply that Barca don't generally play entertaining football. Are you suggesting that this Flick Barca team is more entertaining than Pep's or Enrique's? Or that they played boring football? Or are you saying it's a different type of entertaining?

To be fair it is one game. I wanna see him get goals and play well for the rest of the season.

And I do still think there's something in the team functioning better with a less direct player.

I still think over the long term he will be more of a squad player if Barca are to be a truly world-class team i.e. top one or two in the world. But that might not be the case - we will see.

They are nothing like. Gavi is more of a passer than scorer.

Would not have even played this game if Olmo had been fit and will probably be second choice once again when Olmo is back.

First bad game he plays and fans are queuing up to say he is not Barca first team material and only worthy of being a squad player.

Rumours they wanted to punt him to Chelshit in the summer as well.

He has been treated really poorly on the whole.

Give him a run of 5-7 games and see just how great he can be.
