Christensen was always going to leave at the end of his contract, just the same way he joined us.

I doubt he will get higher salary elsewhere with those injuries and he knows it.

Most folks want him to start based on his form 2 years ago, and I get it. But he wasn't as good as before in the sporadic moments he played, and it isn't surprising considering how long he was absent and he barely have any continuity to build his form.

He's sadly not realiable. He should be in his prime with 29, but picks up injury after injury despite having one of the fewest minutes in the squad. There should be a clean cut in the summer with him. It's a shame because he's always a professional, never toxic, a good player when fit. But you can't plan with players like these.
