Q: You had a good start to 2025. You won the MOTM in the Copa del Rey...

Pablo Torre:
"I think I could have played a lot more minutes after that, I earned them. There was a lot of competition and it was difficult to get in, but I think Flick on that part wasn't fair and I told him that in a talk I had with him. I respect Flick's decision, but I think he wasn't fair to me."

Decided to burn his bridges on his way out?

I think there’s merit to his claims but shouldn’t be out there speaking publicly about it. For his own sake.

He's right, he was playing well then just disappeared.

But fermin got his minutea so difficult to he too mad about it, but goes to the whole Squad utilization question many talked about

Don't think he burned any bridges or anything.

His statement is actually quite mature. 99% of people will see why he is correct.
And he has been just too, not throwing hissy fit or anything.

What good does it bring him? They booted Xavi out of the club for talking.

This kind of media attention usually doesn't do one any favours.

And like I said, he's not wrong.

He's not wrong but he's ruining his career with staying here. I don't mind if he stays because he's class for the role he has but he should leave for his sake.

I dont know man, i think it was a class response.

And he wasn't even provocative of bad mouthing anyone. He said he respects Flick's decision, unlike the likes of Ansu and Fort throwing hissy fits, he didn't say anything then. But he also let his opinion be known.
Quite professional if you see it this way.

Now if the club makes this as a Xavi situation then I would say the club is being a bitch. He deserved more playing time, and he was professional throughout. One quite well spoken comment shouldn't undo everything.

He would suit Betis quite well. Honestly.

Isco being injury prone and old. If we can do a loan deal for 2 years, he will be the player that we want.

He said he talked to Flick about it and said the same thing. He did not stir shit up during the season. Not once.

He's right, but every manager has some players he doesn't really like much despite them showing on the field that they can do well. I would like us to have options in the form of a buyback with this player. For how little he played, he had quite a few goals and good passes.

I have no issue with this and I doubt Hansi would either, how it's spun has little to do with them

I concur. Still think that it won't do him any favours discussing it in public in case he decides to stay.

But that would be a poor decision either way, there's a player in there and it's gonna be tough to develop properly here.

I think he could have had more minutes since he did well when he played, but Flick is the third manager after Xavi and Michel(Girona) who started off playing him a little bit and then basically dropped him or only kept him for fodder minutes at the end of games.

So there must be some reason for it happening.
