He is struggling when Barca cant dominate ball in middle of park to take game up into final third.

Doesnt have the pace to hit on break from wide all that much and Fermin/Gavi/Romeu dont dominate the ball.

Will probably be better once Pedri/FDJ back and can Barca can control the midfield better and get ball to him in better areas.

Said weeks ago Barca shouldnt sign him and need to get more pace out wide.

Nico be ideal.. even if have to pay 50m if there is that clause.

🚨 It seemed that Xavi had found the right position for João Félix, but his effectiveness has plummeted in recent weeks. The Portuguese is perhaps suffering because Barça aren't playing that direct compared to Atlético Madrid, where he also had more space to make things happen. Yesterday he was not at all happy about his substitution. @sport 🇵🇹

So, Atlético, that was a bad fit for him because they played defensively is actually a better fit than Barca because he had more space. That is a stupid excuse.
The only role he could play Is behind the striker in a diamond.
He is not pacy to be a winger as is used currently.
Gavi I guess is supposed to do that in some way, but really isn't.

Simply not good enough. It's the 3rd team he played in a year and it seems nothing fits him.
