Happy Garcia is registered, he looks solid. Reminding it was thanx to unforseen Stegen injury and not Laporta is stating a fact. Also reminding Barca president has been lying on various topics and trusting anything he says is naive.
Demanding excellence for Barca and not accepting incompetence should be a norm as opposed to conflating Barca with Laporta and his cronies.
Were you also this critical during Barto era?

No way, last I heard there are 158 players who didn’t get registered in LaLiga as far back as 2-3 days ago…

They will all get registered in the end.

No big club out there celebrates player registrations, players signing medical reports etc...

This is basic stuff for any club but is sensationalized by clown Laporta fans lol.

You’re acting like the status quo would’ve been changed under another president. Truth is the club was so screwed that the only reason it didn’t go bankrupt was that it was publicly owned and not a private company. But this doesn’t change the fact that if LaLiga had 158 player who weren’t registered, it surely doesn’t mean that it’s all the clubs’ fault. Maybe the system is broken and wrong and that’s why most clubs including us fail to register our transfers.

Sorry what?

Who signed Lewandowski at the age of 33 and made him the highest paid player in La Liga with a contract that actually increases his salary year over year?

Who signed Gundogan and made him one of the top 10 highest earners in La Liga only to offload him a year later because it was deemed to be not sustainable?

Who renewed Ter Stegen on a contract with a high salary until 2028?

Who just renewed Araujo, the most anti-Barca CB in world football, on a big salary increase until 2031?

People acting like Laporta has nothing to do with the salary situation here lol!

Ok perhaps the salary situation could’ve been dealt with better but how come we make over €800m, €760m and €950m over 3 seasons and still not fix our registration issues, despite the fact that we slashed our wage budget by more than half since 2021 when Laporta came in.

Because Barca have huge short term debt repayments, deferred salaries, stadium costs, amortization of transfers etc...

These all factor in on La Liga's FFP and limit the salary cap.

Also I will add the 'lever' strategy will also have a big hit to Barca's revenues long term and therefore also limiting the salary cap.

I don’t like the lever but without them we would be the ac milan of spain. I think the lost money of not beeing competitive is much higher than the cost of getting the money now.

It had to be done, our best way to produce income is winning trophies, without doing those levers we wouldn’t have been as competitive as we are now, you can’t convince me that Xavi would’ve won that league without Lewandowski, Raphinha, Kounde and Christensen, or that Flick can win us a domestic treble with Pau Victor and Torres upfront with Yamal and another La Masia on the wing. He is a great manager but he can’t create miracles like that.

So many people here complain constantly, but still see a season coming where we'll be among the best, with the best player of the next 10 years, who will definitely be playing for us until 2031. There are so many clubs spending hundreds of millions, but no one has the talent and footballers like Lamine yamal

The whole point of the lever strategy is a short term gamble for success with guaranteed long-term loss.

Barca sold 25% of its TV right for the next 25 years, sold Barca studios that was a key part of their digital strategy and also sold parts future merchandising and stadium revenues.

You can't say it was necessary until you see the long term implications of this (which haven't been seen yet).
