Best thing that ever happened to him was Xavi getting the dunt.

Same wit Pedri.

Same with Ferran.

Xavi didnt even seem to know what type of players these were to get best out of them.

Stuck Pedri too high up the park and stuck Raphinha and Ferran too wide too often.

Yes being one of first to take ball off defence as is now is what he needs to be and not as Xavi had him too often waiting for the ball to be built up from defence through others.
