He just did. Took 2 shots, one ended in the net, one barely saved by the keeper. Made a great assist... some of you guys have insane expectations. Just because he is not Lamine on the ball doesn't mean he doesn't have a big impact. He did.

His team scored 3 on the night and 2 of those had him playing a huge part. If that is not contributing... nothing is.
Still, I feel he is not playing on his absolute best level. And we will need that on San Siro. Lamine can do only so much.

But, that said, I feel he is suffering from Balde absence too.

I have been disappointed mostly with his passes and dribbles which has caused more turnovers recently than you would like. He needs to be more careful with his final touches.

Also the own goal rule really sucks in football.

Just be thankful they didn't have Ter Stegen in goal. Overwise he would have froze and it would have bounced out off of the cross bar
 That's hilarious. Stegen doesn't concede that for sure.

Although I do think Sommer got a soft touch just before it hit the bar.

As for Raphinha, after Yamal who was clearly our best player, I think he was our 2nd best. Then De Jong also had a good match. Ferran pretty good also. The rest played under their usual level. Except Martin, he was his mediocre self.

Raphinha: “I felt like Xavi and his staff didn’t trust me enough. Sometimes, I was doing everything in 60 minutes, yet he subbed me out — I tried fixing my situation, had many talks with him, but no difference. He had his way of thinking”

"There is an iconic video in which I explode when I get to the bench and punch the seat. I think it was the game against Manchester United, where I had done very well, scored a goal and given an assist. I think we were 2-2 and he took me out”

“I had just created a very clear opportunity too. I felt comfortable and was playing very well. And the first substitution was me. When I saw it, I couldn't believe it”

Raphinha continues: “I told my wife that I have a lot of potential. If the new coach is a fair person — in a week, I will prove him, and the reality is that it took lesser time for Hansi Flick to get attached to my football”

“Flick is a person who cares about all the players, whom he plays and whom he does not play. I noticed this when Vitor Roque was leaving. He personally was going to talk to the club management to find out what his situation was”

Why is this re-surfacing now when he is in Milano.
He already talked about Xavi not trusting him months back.

I am a life-time Xavi basher as Coach because I felt the Barca job was far above him, mentally weak, inflexible and wanted to be the new Guardiola with his overthinking when it was not required.

That said, Xavi's style was totally different from what is being deployed by Flick now, which suits Raphinha a lot better. Ironically, this was how he was playing at both Rennes and Leeds before Xavi insisted on him and then turning back to playing him as a winger that sticks to the sidelines(this was one of Xavi's naive decisions)

Raphinha might be having an exceptional season, he should be wise enough to understand the differences in the coaches' styles and keep his mouth shut, especially when he was also not so fantastic in those previous seasons too.
