Most chances created + big chances created in the team (and whole Laliga).

If you focus on just "big games", then:

Vs Qsg, 1 big chance for Ferran.

Vs RM in the league, 1 great pass to Kounde at the end which could be a big chance if Kounde didn't miscontrol the ball.

Vs Chelsea, 1 sitter created for Ferran right beginning of the match.

Vs Atletico in the league, 2 big chances created.

Vs RM in super cup, 1 big chance created.

So he mostly created chances for his teammates. Not his fault if they can't convert.

That's low for me in big games considering how often he gets the ball.

If others are fine with 1 or max 2 top class actions in a big game leading to a serious chance being created, and many more lost balls with bare minimal effort in defense most of the time, it is ok, but not me.

If I were to look at each of those games, he'd miss chances he should score or pass in also. Shots skied, selfish actions, just poor this season in bigger games. Remember when Torres is with an open net vs PSG and Yamal is selfish and tries to finish from an angle himself?

Doesn't mean he is not class, just not as good vs better opposition. And let's not forget goals. Is he just completely inept at scoring vs top teams this season? Why is this ignored? A big part of the reason he was so good last season was great goals in important moments. Barely even gets a good shot on target these days when it's not Mallorca or some average side.

Not impressed at all this season. Quite the contrary. Some of the best games we played so far this season were without him. This could be a coincidence or not.

Best away game in the league we played so far offensively was vs Betis. Best hard game was vs Newcastle away. Best overall match was Bilbao Supercup semifinal where we ripped them to pieces.

Yamal is the attacker with the most tackles/interceptions for Barcelona this season.

Been Barcas best player this season quite clearly.

Usual folk pissed off he is better than Raphinha.

Best peformance this season by any player probably Yamal away to Sociedad but players who usually score couldnt and most marginal of offside calls.

Barca v Bilbao was not best performance of season. Were better away to Elche for example only a few weeks ago easily and were better in the final v Real.

Been the best vs smaller sides, but somewhat average vs bigger teams. Some trash games vs top tier opposition, some barely ok, and a few good ones. Mixed bag really, nothing impressive. Not a single great performance, or at least close to the level of some of his games vs top teams. from 2025 Obviously no great goals like last season.

I liked your post, you are right, he played vs Betis and did a top job. He's a top player, on a good day he's our best player, let's make sure he doesn't have shite performances in big games like vs Atletico and some other teams and all is fine.

A critical part of being a forward is shooting and scoring goals. Nearly all of his non penalty goals were vs worst teams we faced this season.

In big games? What performance against xG... he hasn't scored any goal. Let's agree to disagree, in big games for me he lacks an edge he had last season, that's all. This is about his performance, his goal threat, vs top tier teams. Quite poor. Zero goals, not many shots on target either. Yeah, he created some chances, a few big ones, but, as I said, if he didn't do at least that with the amount of actions that go through him and his number of touches in these games, he'd be straight bad.
