Yama & out forward like was getting 0 help from our midfield & 1 of our fullbacks.

It happens, move on & fix it.

If he was getting into positions & failing that's a different story.

Again ignoring how inept Lewa is to offer any runs and allows teams to press on likes of Yamal.

Yamal was poor in his own right on the ball.

The midfield could just as easy say Yamal did next to nothing to releave any pressure with the things he can normally do.

Midfield did press and catch Caicedo on ball for the Ferran miss and 'almost' assist from Yamal... just not enough from any of them.

Yamal was poor and frustrated. Maybe a humbling he needed a bit.

I hope those who have been down playing him performances in big games for the past 18 months but are now quick to highlight them this season.

Tbf it's not hard to see Yamal's ability to play in a more central role. Rivaldo surely sees a lot of himself in Yamal.

Though i hope Yamal won't go right in front of Flick and demand central role like Rivaldo did to Van Gaal. That destroyed their relationship back then.

Yep. Was very active in the first half. The last 30 minutes we didn't see much of him, except the goal pass.
