10 - Lamine Yamal

How are we managing Yamal?

The kid played 277 minutes in 7 days (looking at the games in 09-11, 05-11, and 02-11). He even played 100 minutes against Madrid before going on the 277 minutes, so we also have to assess how we manage the kid, cause looking at the trend, I don't think Flick would've done things differently if he were Spain's coach.

Flick is not the one who gave him painkiller injections to play in a match his team were heavy favorites.

That's true, but he kept Yamal on for the full 90 against PSG, even when lads claimed he wasn't looking fit. PSG, on the other hand, didn't risk their players, subbing Ruiz and Barcola (so they didn't play 90).
My point is, following trends, Barca or Flick don't really rest the kid (I don't see them doing differently if they were managing Spain and someone else managing Barca).
Anyways, I hope the kid stays fit

PSG played a half fit Dembele just recently and had to sub him off because he relapsed.

So we're saying the same thing, clubs are doing what they accuse Countries of.

Barca didn't give Lamine Yamal painkiller injections to play him in an inconsequential match.

You love being the contrarian for some reason.

Yes I agree with you that clubs or club managers aren't always saints, but they're the one paying the big bucks for the player. The ones taking care of the player every day with their nutrition, training habits, etc.

The clubs are the ones with the most information about the player's fatigue being the ones monitoring it throughout the season.

destroying the pain receptors won't solve the problem and probably make it worse long term
Is that what the thing does tho? Thought it's some kind of diagnostics tool. Any kind of chemical/electromagnetic therapies done in modern allopathic medicine does more harm than good, that's a fact.

This motherfucker has the audacity to be shocked, after he let Lamine play with painkillers the last time and most likely planned something similar again.
Thankfully the club learned and it was also good not to notify this moron, because they would have come up with some plan to still include him. But drop it like this and they need to send him home. Perfectly done, finally a smart move from the club.
I'm starting to wonder about his early life from the way he expresses himself. Very on the nose guy.

Beyond his criticism of Barcelona, Roberto Gómez wanted to send a direct message to the young striker. “Lamine needs to keep in mind that most of the publicity he receives is because he plays for the Spanish national team,” he warned.

Oh, shut the feck up, you idiot (don't even know who you are tbf). If anything Spain should be grateful to Barca and the Basque boys, those Madridiots would win nothing without them.

Another week and another circus surrounding Yamal. Am I the only one in here who thinks that going to war against the Spanish NT is no good?
