People can think what they think about Laporta but no one can deny he has that certain aura you want your boss to have compared to likes of Florentino Perez who only shows up when his signature is needed.

People think competitiveness in sports is tied to overall intelligence and class, but it's really not so, or not generally valid. Some of the most successful people in their athletic and artistic fields are complete idiots in other aspects of life, or average at best.

Most superstars would do the world a big service if they kept their mouths shut between their on the field or on the stage interpretations.
