10 - Lamine Yamal

I don't think there was a single 1v1 engagement Yamal/Hall

Ridiculous to say he pocketed him. Yamal barely touched the ball and Hall should have had a yellow either way for pulling Yamal early in the game

Didn't watch the game but after reading your comment, I went to catch some player highlights. Contrary to your statement, I did see moments of engagement between Yamal and Hall. The latter looked faster, showed more tenacity and better anticipation to get to the ball before Yamal. Now I dont know how his game was overall. But judging on the duel itself, he looked second best.
I know some posters can be unreasonable in assessing his performances, but lets not go overboard in defending his poor outings. Personally, I'm glad his cringe self-crowning celebrations are past him.

On another note, I always suspected @Temptation to be a bigot. But I'm convinced now. I can see him seething each time Ekitiké takes the pitch.

Yeah @zanela I thought Hall had a lot of occasions he bested Yamal. It doesn't mean much in the long term. He will have bad or average games, he's still a potential BPITW in future.

Huge consideration….except for Flick who worked with him at Bayern as well. Why is that?
Calm down. Fair play if Flick doesn't wanna use Lewa is PK taker.

I am not even talking about this situation.

I am just saying, usually, sample size matters a lot. Flick has discarded its importance here and that's fine. I have seen lewa miss too.

It's also maybe because Yamal is the star of the team and the best player, so naturally will take penalties to boost stats.

Like how Messi wasn't the best PK taker in the world for a long time, sometimes missed, but still took them as he's Messi and the best player ever and one of the best goalscorers ever.
