With central Lamine like JamDav says, running more the plays as a 10, chance creation is likely gonna take a hit, goals will take a hit, defense will improve. More of an older Barca style. More on control and less on fast breaks.

You say Raphinha is gonna play wider. Then his goals tally is gonna be cut in half. Who takes the burden of scoring those goals he scored last season?

You think Lamine is gonna spray genius assists one after another every game? Don't think so.

We saw it in the Clasico and it wasn't that pretty.

Never said Yamal will play as a traditional 10.

I think he will get more and more freedom to come central and have a career like Messis where it is changed a lot but always around letting him freedom to go get on the ball centrally and hurt teams.

I think Raphinha will play wide more often.

Yamals numbers will increase and as Rashford is showing can be involved in a lot of goals from wide position

Doesnt mean Raph hugs touchline all game but will be wide more often would be my guess.

Barca dont even have to replicate the goals from last season to improve anyway and likes of Rashford and Ferran if LW in that supporting role would get high numbers anyway.

He is devestating when gets more central as his running with ball creates chaos and he has that Messi vision near enough for final pass.

Seen it v Brugge, Real and at weekend.

He is the best winger in world but creating situations he can have freedom to get central also has to be there.

What weekend showed also is that to get very best from Yamal you need CF that will run into space.

As good as Kane is thats not him and to get best out of Kane/Lewa you have to create a way of playing for them.

It should be all about creating team for Yamal.

Alvarez would be a dream then. Or Haaland but... we know our financial state.
