Here you can rewatch it. He had three lucid passes that directly led to huge chances for goal. I don't know what's up with guys on this forum, seems like nobody rates his performance vs Zvezda. I actually thought he did really well there, although he did have a couple failed attempts both to score and to get past his man.

Ah, I didn't get what you meant at first, I didn't see there was an injury announcement today, it's strange they would post so late.

In that case injury would be most obvious reason, no point speculating about if it was a lie or not because we can never know.

I hope so, it's about time we became more cynical with protecting our players given how many injuries we've had recently.


My only concern is it would require the player to be involved, but to be fair, something more vague like muscular fatigue is also a valid reason to rest a player and I don't think an NT could challenge that if the clubs medics sign off on it.

In general though Yamal or any other player might want to go and play for their NT and in such cases there's nothing we can do unless we want to risk a massive dispute.

Everyone played great against them. Serbian farmers can't be the benchmark of anyone at Barca. Now today....

That's why I don't rate the performances of anyone in those kind of games, they tell you nothing.
Think you got my argument wrong, it's not about him. But more the fact that everyone has been shit.

Love this, though given how lack luster our attack was maybe we could've played him and then subbed him off early and made the same excuse. Gotta start playing dirty.
