Why not go on loan somewhere? At least part of his wages could be covered.
Because he's either stubborn like a mule or bad influenced. By now he must realize his time at Barca is over and the longer he keeps sitting on the bench or even on the stands, the worse the teams become who are interested in him.
His entire career is at risk if he keeps going like that.

Or he just values earning tons of cash? You can't really blame him. I don't.

He will earn it regardless. Going out on loan means Barca will cover the part of salary, that the new club won't pay.
I guess an insignificant part of his salary at best. It hardly matters where he plays (or doesn't). That's the harsh reality of it.

The lower table clubs in LL, Italy, Portugal etc couldn't and probably wouldn't pay even 20% of his salary - their best and most expensive players are on those salaries. And Ansu have shown fuck all to even be considered by a mid-table club in for example France Portugal or Germany tbh - he's barely even trying to play.

He can't play for small teams due to salary. Want go to other teams who can help pay some. What does he think is going to happen once his contract is up? Just retire?

His contract’s up in 2027. Could’ve squeezed at least three more years at comparable wages from the Saudis. No way someone comes for him in the summer of 2027 with a good offer.

Tbf Saudis gonna pour money on any bum until 2030 at least. With the WC done I expect they will do less spending.

Stays and enjoys life in Barcelona until 2027. He then goes to Saudi as a free agent and gets another big salary until retirement.
