10 - Ansu Fati

He’s fallen into a deep dark whole where he’s even left out of the squad for Copa. Nobody in their right mind would gamble on this dude even if it was a loan completely for free. This thread should have been moved to retired players months ago, how some of you didn’t watch his last couple of minutes he played and still didn’t realize he doesn’t give a fuck is beyond me.

Girona is one of the very few that can afford Fati as damaged goods in LL, but he's no longer regarded as deserving the 5-6m salary (which is 50/50). Flick's recent honest comment might have added even more salt to this wound.

Betis and Sevilla are balancing their budgets, especially severe with Sevilla.

There are rumours of interest by Tottenham and West Ham. They surely can allow half of his contract, but what for, given Brighton performance?

Overall it seems doomed for Barca and great for Fati milking this great contract he signed back in 2021 until 2027. We will pay significant amount of his contract throughout wherever he goes.

Again: it's gonna be 3m gross max for whichever team is interested. Some teams can afford that, like Girona or Sevilla.

Question is: who takes the bet?

PS: Yes, that contract was a prime example of Laporta's inadequacy to be the president of Barcelona.
Mostly done to repay favors to one of his agent buddies, Mendez

Stop writing big empty words and look around you: Girona and Sevilla already expressed interest.
(We are not doing business with Sevilla after their stance on Olmo's registration, but that's another issue)

Real talk, only lives in the schizo minds of those who thought he was anywhere close to Messi.

Unai Hernandez is better and has never got the chance to play for Barca.

Unfortunately, he will either be here or go on loan for the remainder of his contract.
If he agrees to leave at a lower wage then maybe. But If I was him, I would see through my contract and leave after that.

What do we gain if he goes on a loan? A loan for Ansu is against the interests of the club because we will still pay the whole wage. Usually a loan can at least be good for a player, he increases his value etc. but we know Ansu won't do that, I think it's clear at this poit.

If he wants to play football again he can leave for free, that's it. But wait until Trashford goes to another club please.

It might actually be good for him to go on loan to Saudi, score a ton of goals and get his mojo back.

Do it Mendes.

| JUST IN: Ansu Fati has informed Flick that he intends to stay at least until the summer. He sought advice from the coach on how to improve, and Flick responded by emphasizing that Fati needs to play with the same confidence and freedom he shows in training. Flick assured Ansu that he values him but also believes he should be performing at a higher level, given his talent. In a supportive and constructive tone, the Barça coach encouraged Fati to overcome his fear of failure and play with a free mind. He highlighted how Fati often impresses and poses a significant goal threat during training but needs to replicate that same confidence on the field. Ansu took the feedback positively and is determined to work on improving his performances. [
