10 - Ansu Fati

Just leave and try and make a career somewhere.
Kids today have no ambition

It's really sad they only think about money. A guy like Ansu 20 years ago would go to some smaller club and try to rescue his career on some level. It looks like Ansu is happy with 5+ years of no playing time to collect the money. I get it but it's sad it's all just about money. At least Frenkie plays on some level, Ansu is worse but gets less hate because he is La Masia.

He gets less hate because fans have the common sense to know a injury ended his career.

Of course he's think about the money, 5 years and he'll be set for life, who wouldn't.

Umtiti also got Frenkie level of hate and his career ended because of an injury. Ansu is not hated only because he's La Masia.

I understand that a person in his position wants the money because he'll never get it elsewhere, I would do the same but it's hypocritical when some resent Frenkie and not Ansu.

Umtiti choose to go to the WC and effectively end his barca career that's why he got bad energy.

Come on bro be contextually aware.

Fans saw a kid from masia got his knees done in and the club messed up his recovery, they aren't gonna hate him for something that wasn't his fault, like umtiti.

Ansu already went on loan last season so he gets a pass till now.

Besides, it is said management wanted to keep him this summer.

He doesn't go this window despite being forced out?

Then we can complain of his motivations. Coz even if he were to stay next season, he needs to get minutes and rhythm right now.

Up until this recent injury all signs pointed to him staying and fighting for a place, I think the issue is both 1) We're doing really well right now and need to capitalize on all this early sucess with some real silverware at the end and 2) He hasnt been good in training since hes been back.

I think he got his second chance and it didnt pan out now and they;re trying to tell him it didnt pan out but he still thinks he can make it work in the second half of the season.

I'm sure Umtiti didn't know that the injury will get that much worse because of the WC. At some point Ansu also chose not to have surgery, the same as Umiti. I don't see any difference between the cases except one is homegrown and the other isn't.

I have nothing against Ansu, I feel bad for his career but at this point it looks like he decided to be a leach until the end of his contract. I get why but it's not fair someone like FDJ who actually plays and tries gets whistles while Ansu who doesn't even try and play get applause. If he decides to leave the club (not on loan) I'll take it back.

He should do what you mean? He has a contract, probably his last contract above 5M. Nobody is in for him, not even a loan.
Frenkie's case is different... he's on way to high wage, we want to renew him to be somewhat in line with what Pedri earns and from what we've gathered he doesn't want to come down and therefor won't sign renewal. He's probably also not listening to other offers. We paid 80ish million for him and it pisses everybody off we could end with 0 if he fucks with us. Ansu can't even be considered a football player anymore, nobody wants anything to do with him - probably not even go out on loan if we pay 80% of his wage, nobody could possibly be interested in him...

In a perfect world this guy would have been our #9 with the rest of the team around. I don't even have the heart to post here, his story is too sad, he was promised to a bright future but injury stole his glory. I read ppl criticizing him because he follows money but who wouldn't ? His carreer is definitely over, should just enjoy life and maximise his bank account.

I don't get his insistence at this point...

He needs to play. He could go on loan to a LL side and Barca could cover part of his salary, he won't lose money.

It's just his stubbornness that he wants to play only for Barca

That's naive. If he wants more playtime in a lesser side Barca will obviously push him to make financial concessions (as they should!). No point in getting him out while covering 90%+ of his salary.
