So in the end he just blackmailed the club with the signiture so he could stay a fictional captain on paper. Who cares, he can keep his "title" and watch as a captain on the stands as long as we can register Garcia now.

I'm vocal critic of Laporta but great job about buying Garcia and finally kicking this piece of shit away from the pitch. In the end he even got the signiture for the registration so great success. Register Garcia and forget this dark period of Barca's goalkeeping in the last decade.

He can rot on the stands and get his paycheck, I'm sure Nagelsmann will make him a fictional captain for WC too when he watches it from sunny Barcelona.

The news that Laporta went to his house to 'talk' are 100% fabricated shit to push narrative

He took his huge L, and now he hopes he can limit the damage.

I am pretty sure he never plays again for Flick, and that will make him (at some point) consider leaving

Why on earth are they giving the captaincy (back) to a guy who will probably never play another game for Barca again?

He should have been told to sign his medical report and find a new club if he wants a chance to play in the WC next year.

This whole situation is just bizarre and another Laporta media circus. Almost hard to keep track of how many there have been this summer.

all this drama is going to destroy the 25/26 season. Hoping we can retain LL.

Preseason drama is next to irrelevant. Madrid had some with their Vinicius saga also. Don't think it matters at all.

I'm pretty confident. All top players fit except for Lewandowski, Ferran in form, Gavi in form compared to injured... Rashford hungry... upgraded keeper, think we're looking good.

2022-23 easily his best for league form (his only Zamora trophy I think).
.....
2014-15, mostly because Lucho didn't play Bravo in CL and made Stegen full bench warmer, but still, no major fuck-ups in CL that season (or just a big one that stood out). Did OK overall, but if that blunder in the CL final went in... this would've ended up much lower.

Rest too lazy to rank them, but neither was particularly good, some doozies in there between league and horrible CL performances. If Rome and Anfield fiascos are both part of his top 4 seasons... I rest my case.
