I kid you not a week or so before the Napoli tie I watched the Barca vs Juve game (3-0) and he honestly could have saved some of those goals. As I said props for the people who criticized that early and saw the difference of his performances of La liga and CL 5 (I clearly wasn't one of them).

As I said that Bayern tie opened my eyes.

I always thought Stegen was the first real top keeper for Barcelona, this milennium at least.
I never even knew people were critical towards him before joining this forum this year.
Even though I think he gets blamed in a ridiculous manner here a lot of the time, maybe I'll have to change my opinion on him, maybe. I'll leave the door open as I don't focus so much on the keeper.

Top 1 thing for a Barcelona keeper should be passing and vision (both off/def), next thing should be 1v1:s, only then maybe the shot stopping and command of area that is so important in England for example.
I think this keeper fits the description very well, and he has saved Barcelona a lot through the years.
