Probably the only player I have seen in all my years of watching football that could pass for being mentally retarded.

I've hated on a lot of players i.e. Sergi Roberto, Eric Garica, Ferran Torres etc...but they are just terrible players...

Osama Bin Stegen on the other hand is actually mentally retarded.

It's concerning that two boards and numerous sporting directors continue to overlook the calamity that Ter Stegen is. Instead they will continue to buy luxury players and overplay la masia youngsters. Everyone and his dog knew we NEEDED a left wing and DM.
I've been after Ter Stegen since 2017 and especially since 2020 and his horror show against Bayern.

I was hopeful with early rumors that Flick was bringing the Bayern Goalkeeping coach with him.

Ya it's hopeless now.

We got donkeys on both ends of the field.
Like a divine judgment, getting The Eiffel Tower treatment from the front and the back, is what a Cule life is now.

He's far from our biggest problem...
People just get bored

Real won a CL with Lunin in goal and Spain a Euro with Unai Simon. Valdes would have still been our GK if he didn´t want more money. Barca are not traditionally splurging on GKs.

You're welcome
He reminds me of that character from the movie Kung-Pow that was deliberately taught wrong style of Kung Fu with moves such as face-to-fist and nuts-to-foot. So ingrained now that can’t be unlearned anymore.

Arsène Wenger, Sky Sports analyst, after Barcelona's 3-0 loss in the Joan Gamper Cup: "I believe that Barcelona has had a clear problem for a long time, and that problem is Ter Stegen. Monaco took three shots today at Barcelona’s goal, and two of them went in. The bigger issue isn't just the goals, but the fact that Ter Stegen’s way of saving shots is laughable and primitive. He raises his hand every time as if he’s waving, which is unbelievable. I think Ter Stegen is a great goalkeeper when it comes to one-on-one situations, but he is poor at dealing with both long-range and close-range shots. He is not the kind of goalkeeper you can rely on. If Barcelona wants to succeed, I believe they need to sign a better goalkeeper.''

Pretty much sums it up. We'll never be truly 'back' as they say, as long as this doofus is still here. If Lenglet will hopefully be gone for good until the end of the summer, he will the last of the losers we need to move on (well maybe Frenkie too, but he's salvageable, if his injuries aren't too bad and he's ready to come down on his wage...which he probably won't so he needs to be gone too next summer, while we can still get at least 50M).

Only then when all from the 8-2 will be gone, we can finally move on. Until then, we're in this state of limbo, even if we buy Leao and Isak both up front next season. Getting rid of MATS and De Jong will be much more important, for me at least.

Further problem is having a gk as captain. As per new rules, he will be only one allowed to speak to the refs? A goalkeeper and most silent player in the squad?
Terrible
Hopefully Flick will intervene at some point. You can't have a GK as captain these days in football. Even more so when that GK is the biggest pussy i've ever seen. Afraid of the ball itself.

We've got Flick. Now it's time to put in a cheeky bid for Neuer. Time for this guy's national team PTSD to come back full force. Cause that's the only way he's leaving. :ROFLMAO:
