They are not really in a mess, unfortunately. Even if Lewandowski goes, they will still win Buli easily and has a much better shot than us winning any European titles.

If Lewandowski officially informs Bayern about his desire to leave within 15 days of the season's end, then, according to FIFA rules, he will be allowed to leave & then they will set the transfer fee - based on multiple factors, it won't be more than ?10M.

Yeah, although it is legal , there is unwritten rule that no one will execute it. It just opens Pandora box for all clubs.
