Everyone decides for himself what, but the fact that something is missing is for sure.

When Sociedad received the red card they started playing much better than they had the entire first half, which makes no sense.

But... It was because they switched to a 5 back. It is such a counter to this system that even though they were a man down switching to it instantly improved them from when they were playing with 11 in the 1st half.

Totally understandable in retrospect how we lost to Frankfurt. The extra defender really really damages this system.

Our starting 11 are perfect, well balanced and each one of them has a unique valuable contribution. Its just a matter of playing more with the same setup and being more focused thats it.

Our subs however .. they suck

We will find the answer to 5 at the back, A.K.A double decker bus. But for now we seem to have found an answer for gegenpressing and counters.
Our real issue is we have exactly one starting lineup, and beyond that is pure chaos with mediocre players who drop our level significantly. It's to be expected at this stage, but apart from a RB, a younger DM and a left winger, we should try to find some talented backups.

Not really. Gavi hit the post and Frankie if passed back to Lewa instead of far post cross it would have been a goal .. plus a hand ball penalty. We were a bit lazy thats it but our starting 11 with this setup of attacking from the middle is a killer team

Their striker also should have scored at least once, he missed like 3 sitters and one of them was an open net from 5 yards out.

Considering they played with 10 men for more than half the game it wasn't that good of a performance.

Look at you lol. Did you not get that Balde is playing more like a LM and Kounde as a third CB at times? This wont work with a typical RB like many in here want. We have our perfect RB, our Abidal

Also why do you want a LW? We have already established that we only need one winger and the other is more of a Henry, Suarez, Ronaldinho or Iniesta. This is how Barca always plays well

Attacking + Defending LB/RB

Winger + attacker with finishing abilities + attacker assister

This will not work against all teams. We will need to adjust and play 4-3-3 some games and then we are totally out of it. We need a RB better than Kounde is.

Dembele played well today but he'll do his usual disappearing act after a great performance

If he was consistently great (more often than not), he'd be Mbappe tier

Been Barca's best player this season and a different player compared to Mbappe.
