At this point the game at Camp Nou is going to be crucial. A lot of football ahead, but...

Win that and we should be home and dry.

At this rate, Camp Nou won't even enter into it, we will drop points soon enough, our only hope is that you actually start doing the same at some point.

Real tonight had exact opposite late game as did last season.

Last year they often took younger legs off bench to help increase intensity and went on to win game late on.

Today they brought on Modric.. and he had opposite effect. He slowed game down and Sociedad finished the stronger.

Ancelotti got a fair bit of work to do.

Can see him there next season. Surely Tuchel will be in.

Subbing of Ceballos for Modric was a mistake, nothing much happened after that.

Ancelotti has a career of so many years, and has won only 3 (!) times the league in competitive leagues (spain, italy, england, when there is actually some opposition that can win it):
1 time with Ac Milan, 1 time with Chelsea, 1 time with RM in his 2nd stint
He even managed to lose one league title with PSG (LOL)

There is actually a reason he is so helpless in winning leagues...

Still the only manager to win the CL 4 times...coupled with 2 more times as a player.

Far superior to anyone not named Pep. Klopp IMO is losing stock with how absolutely awful Liverpool are. You can't have meltdowns like this season Pool and Dortmund final season and be considered in Pep's tier IMO.

Birdman can't help himself can he

If Carlo was smsrt he'd go to the market for a utility striker/winger to take load off underperforming players. But he's always been such a gramps to his players he will never do anything to make them lose trust in him. Dug his own grave and Perez helped him quite a bit. Had to invest in frontline and didn't on sheer arrogance. People generally overrate Benzema and choose to shift blame to RW instead of talking about it. The usual really

Not totally surprised Modric has dropped off massively.

Man is 37 years old, it was bound to catch up at some point as he's played so many games.

Yes modric is all of a sudden drastically starting to feel & show is age.

They need to add some legs there & replace Benzema this summer.

With freaking Mbappe, Jesus Christ.
