Will probably be rested for Bolivia. Argentina have this matchday off so there's a bit of rest anyway. But he needs to be fresh for the KO stages.
Would like to see Argentina without Messi as well. Should be able to win against Bolivia without Messi eager to statpad.

This factory worker dad he has as an agent has done a pretty good job for his client. He earned him a staggering 550 millions contract over 4 years. It is unprecendented in the history of football. I'm not even talking about the charity scheme to evade taxes.

Messi is fine. He got an huge career, won pretty much everything there is to win at club level, has the record on Ballon d'Or won. All that while he should have said a midget due to his medical condition. He has done more than fine and is still the best player in the world at 34.

You need to understand that Messi is a man, not a machine. Personal life matters too. Look at Di Maria : he earned a big transfer at MU but he and his wife hated being there and he is happier than ever in Paris. Messi is happy at Barcelona, end of the story.

Great post. I swear that oppo fans have more sensible and correct oppinions about Messi than some of the Barca ''fans'' here.

At this point we've got to to hope that the audit turns up something severe...ie club's finances are compromised so badly that it can't be rolled into the future. Let's hope...
