Kinda funny how this all played out. Barca buying misfit Griezmann lead to Atletico overpaying for Felix, who doesn't seem to fit all that well into their team as well and now we loan them back Griezmann and Felix will probably have an even harder time.

Would've been better for everyone involved there if Barto just never activated that stupid buyout clause.

In that case, we end up buying Felix for 120 mil€.

Awfully quiet season so far from my man... Surely not living up to the exorbitant price tag, not to mention his continuous struggles to adapt to Atletico's playing style..It goes on to show that, of all the transfers a player makes, perhaps the very first one you do as a youngster is the most important (For every Mbappe and Haaland that got it right, there is a Joao Felix that didn't, sadly)
