2nd season in a row he doesn't do anything in the knockouts, Messi might be finished in the CL but so is Ronaldo, oh well it was a good run.

On a more serious note, his career at the top level may be finished by the end of the month.

United won't get Champions League football next season and don't see any major contender picking him up at his age and wage for next season. No chance United challenge for the league either.

Has to beat Turkey and Italy with Portugal to qualify for the World Cup, which is a tall order.

If he doesn't have the CL or WC to look forward to he might just move to a retirement league this summer to stat pad.
